Hi! I'm Megan, a NYC based sports and orthopedic physical therapist. I grew up on Long Island, NY, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Stony Brook University before completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. During my clinical training, I completed rotations in adult and pediatric sports physical therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. My clinical interests include return-to-sport rehabilitation, scoliosis-specific physical therapy, orthopedic injury recovery, and concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.
I remain dual-credentialed in both physical therapy and athletic training, with over 10 years of experience in sports medicine. I have worked extensively with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, focusing on sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and return-to-sport programs, particularly for ACL and lower-extremity injuries. I am also certified in dry needling and am a CCMI trained concussion specialist.
Having personal experience with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and chronic back pain, I am especially passionate about helping patients manage pain and stay active. I am dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based care and strive to educate and empower patients and their families to continue participating in the activities they love.
